Product Design Lead
Location: North America
About the role
Bezi is building an agentic workspace for game studios - engine-agnostic, built to work across how teams actually make games, not locked to any single toolchain. We're early, the problems are still being defined, and a lot of what "good" looks like here hasn't been figured out yet. We're looking for a Product Design Lead who's comfortable in that space - someone who can take a fuzzy problem, understand the system underneath it, and shape a direction before all the answers are in.
This isn't a role for someone who wants a fully-scoped brief and a clear spec to execute against. You'll often be the one creating that clarity for the rest of the team. We're not looking for someone to come in and execute a fully-formed vision - we're looking for someone who wants to help build it.
What you'll do
Own design across the product end to end - from early problem framing through shipped experience, thinking in systems rather than screens
Work directly with engineering, product, and leadership to define what we're building and why, not just how it looks
Design for a workspace that has to make sense across different engines and studio workflows. Consistency and coherence matter more here than in a single-platform tool
Bring structure to ambiguous problems - asking the right questions before reaching for a solution
Set and evolve our design practice as the team and product grow
Stay genuinely engaged with how AI tools and interfaces are evolving, and bring that thinking back into how we design our own product
Mentor other designers as the team scales, and represent design in decisions that shape the company's direction
What you need
7+ years of product design experience, with real ownership of complex products - not just individual features
A systems mindset - you naturally think about how components, flows, and decisions connect, not just the surface of a screen
Genuine comfort with ambiguity. You don't wait for a clean brief; you help create one
Active curiosity about the AI landscape - you're already following how AI products and interfaces are changing, and have opinions about where they're headed
Strong craft, but craft in service of clarity. You can simplify a complicated system into something that feels obvious in hindsight
Experience working closely with engineers, ideally in a fast-moving or technical product (dev tools, AI tools, game development, or similarly complex domains are a plus)
Clear communication - you can explain a design decision to an engineer, a founder, and a user in three different ways, and all three land to the receiver
