Product Manager

Location: North America

About the role

We're hiring a Product Manager to own how Bezi fits into real game studio pipelines. This isn't a role for someone who's only PM'd from the outside looking in. You need to have actually shipped games or been in very close proximity to it, sat in production meetings, fought with build pipelines, and felt the pain points we're trying to solve - because our users will know in the first five minutes of a conversation whether you get it.

This role comes with a lot of autonomy and not a lot of process. You'll define scope, not just execute against someone else's spec.

What you'll do

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for how Bezi fits into game studio workflows and pipelines, across engines

  • Talk to game developers and studios constantly - playtest, interview, and watch people use Bezi in their actual production environment

  • Translate ambiguous, early-stage problems into clear priorities, without waiting for someone else to define the problem for you

  • Partner closely with engineering and design to ship fast, in a team where PMs are hands-on, not just spec-writers

  • Prototype ideas directly - using AI tools to mock up flows and concepts so the team can react to something real instead of a slide of a spec doc

  • Make judgment calls with incomplete information - most of what we're building doesn't have a playbook yet

  • Represent the voice of working game developers inside the company

What you need

  • First-hand experience working in the game development industry is mandatory. This means you've worked as a producer, PM, or in a comparable role at a game studio

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty - you've operated in environments without a clear roadmap and made progress anyway

  • Genuine curiosity about the fast-moving AI product landscape - you actively try new AI tools and products as they come out, not just read about them

  • Fluency using AI products hands-on, and building prototypes with them to communicate ideas - you'd rather show a working mockup than write a spec

  • 5+ years of product management or production experience, with meaningful time in games specifically

  • Strong technical fluency across game engine and pipeline tooling (Unity, Unreal, or similar) - comfortable enough to have credible conversations with engineers

  • Excellent judgment about what to build, what to skip, and when to ship something imperfect

  • Comfortable with a hybrid/onsite environment and a fast, low-process team

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI-assisted or developer tooling products

  • A track record of shipping features that developers actually adopted, not just launched

About Bezi

Bezi is building an agentic workspace for game studios - engine-agnostic, not tied to any single toolchain. We're giving game developers and studios an AI-native way to work across their entire production pipeline, not just inside one engine's editor. We're a small, fast-moving team building for a technical, opinionated audience - game developers who know exactly what "good" looks like and will tell you when something's off.

Every member of the team is trusted, and expected, to deeply understand the people we build for and find creative ways to improve their lives and work through Bezi. Our organization is flat; everyone is trusted to pursue and validate ideas and every idea is supported and debated equally.

We believe the best work happens when teams know each other. Bay Area team members gather in our San Francisco office three times a week and remote teammates join us in person multiple times a year.
